What you'll be doing

The applicant’s role together with the internal and external development team is to:

• Assist with and review of the requirements definition, general software design, general coding recommendations, code reviews, source code control, integration management testing, and release management;
• Assist with the design, implementation and compliance monitoring of project-specific SQA policies, procedures and standards;
• Report to and advise the board with regard to the acceptance of externally developed software.

Who we are looking for

You have:

• 5+ years of software development experience;
• 3+ years of technical project management & coordination experience;
• 3+ years of QA and testing experience for software products;
• You have solid experience in Python and/or Javascript development (R is a plus);
• You enjoy the complexity of game theoretic and mathematical problems;
• You are experienced with git, gitflow, Docker, Linux and continuous integration (eg. Travis CI);
• You take ownership of what you are working on, feel responsible for it and are able to work independently;
• You are a team player who can communicate fluently in spoken and written English (German language proficiency is a plus, but not a must); and
• You act proactively and independently and have an optimistic, honest and passionate personality.

.Full Stack Developer

The Raiden Network is a technology that leverages off-chain state channels to scale out token transfer capacity while improving latency and privacy properties.

As such, Raiden is one of the most anticipated projects in the space as any decentralized application aiming to achieve significant adoption will be using the Raiden Network.

What you'll be doing

• Write software with an agile project management process (Scrum and Kanban)
• Actively participate in project planning and task creation
• Find technical solutions and identify use cases involving distributed systems for projects and clients
• Participate in code reviews
• Implement tests and watch them succeed in CircleCI
• Contribute to an open source codebase, i.e. having the ability to show results of your work to anyone in the world and get it challenged
• Work with the Ethereum blockchain technology, one of the most exciting spaces of applied computer science

Who we are looking for

• You have the ability and curiosity to learn faster than your colleagues - this is more important than your current blockchain knowledge
• You have several years of industry programming experience, ideally in a team of 3+ developers, in at least one other software company
• You have solid experience in Python or Javascript development
• You enjoy the complexity of game theoretic and mathematical problems
• You are comfortable working with git, Docker and Linux
• You take ownership of what you are working on
• You can communicate fluently in spoken and written English. German language proficiency is a plus
• You participate in code reviews and feel comfortable in an agile development process
